He was also last in the batting order, so that meant all the other team had to do to get him out was put the ball on the tee. That didn't stop him from running all the bases EVERY time he got up to bat though. Rarely was there any one left on the field when he crossed home plate. Three illegitimate in-the-park home runs makes a dad proud. He had the biggest smile every time he came home, which made sitting in the sun worth it.

Here he is coming into home. Notice that no one is left in the field and the ball is sitting squarely on the tee. He ran hard all the way to the end.
And... the smile.

Way to go Easton, we are proud of you! Attitude is everything - and running the bases is most of the work involved in a home run anyway.
YEAH Easton is a runner!
Sounds like great fun. Sage was the littlest guy on his baseball team, too. Great times, great memories!
Congrats on your little cutie! Thanks for commenting on my blog! I grew up in Cabot, Arkansas. I haven't lived in Arkansas since in about 12 years and rarely make it back as I do not have family living in Arkie anymore :( so sad! However, it is still "home" in many ways...
