Off to School

When we were in Ethiopia, I told Catherine that Addis didn't like the bath. She said, "That's because he hasn't taken a bath with me yet daddy!" Well, it turns out, she was right. He loves to take a bath with his brother and sisters. Now that his fear of the bath is gone, he really is the best baby ever.

The twins had their first day of school yesterday. They were so excited and did not want us to hang around their classroom. Catherine told us bye 20 times before we actually left. We didn't get much out of them concerning their first day. They must have liked it, cause they went back without a fuss today.

And, the backpacks are required. Not our choice. Because every preschooler needs to learn what it feels like to carry your own body weight to school...

So great to see you all settled in with your sweetie! My Leah just broke her elbow and had to have surgery... her arm looks just like your Catherine's... yikes! I hope you guys are okay!

Addis just had to learn how to take a proper bath, it looks like. :) Sweet Catherine, she took him under her wing and taught him.

Yeah, still no explanation for the arm. I think it deserves a post!

How could Addis not love the bath with his fun brother and sisters? What a cute little family!

I can't tell you guys how much we appreciate the pictures. It's definitely a blessing to be able to watch Eli grow - even from afar!

How hysterical are those backpacks! They look like they're as big as the kids! So fun.
